Check-in
3pm - 5pm (Late arrivals must call prior to 5pm on the scheduled
check-in day to make arrangements to pick up keys.)
Check-out
Check-out is at 10am sharp, no exceptions. Please be sure
to turn in all pool passes, keys and parking permits to our office
by this time. You are charged for these items if they are lost.
Items to
bring
All paper products, soaps and linens (sheets, pillow cases,
blankets, and towels) are the responsibility of the tenant and
none can be provided by the rental department.
Our units are equipped with basic kitchen supplies: dishes,
silverware, coffee pot, toaster, can opener, and pots and pans.
They do not have specialty items such as waffle irons, crab
pots, blenders, etc. These types of items must be brought with
you. Cleaning
Please be patient. Due to circumstances beyond our control, there
is a possibility that your unit may not be cleaned by check-in
time. Our cleaning staff has until 6:30pm to complete the cleaning
of units. Please refer to item #9 on your Rental Agreement.
Air conditioning
Do not radically change the setting on the air conditioner
thermostat; setting it below 72 degrees will cause it to freeze up
and not operate. Keep all windows, doors, curtains and blinds
closed for better cooling.
Refrigerators
Setting the refrigerator's thermostat too high will trap all the
cold air in the freezer and none will flow into the refrigerator
compartment. When first entering the unit it is important to keep the refrigerator door closed
as much as possible so it may cool
down. Parking
Each individual unit strictly controls parking. Generally, only one
(1) space is provided per unit. Additional parking may be available
(but is not guaranteed) on side streets or municipal lots. Some
buildings also have height and other size restrictions for
vehicles. Please
call if you expect these restrictions would apply to you. Some buildings also charge a
registration or parking fee, which will vary per unit. Payment
The entire balance of your rent is due thirty (30) days prior to
check-in. We accept the following methods of payment.
- Personal checks if they are received and cleared
by the bank at least thirty (30) days prior to check-in
- Certified checks
- Money orders
- Cash (in person only)
- Traveler's checks
- Visa and MasterCard
Cancellation
In the event you cancel your reservation, your entire deposit will
be forfeited if the unit is not re-rented. If the unit is
re-rented, a 16% cancellation fee will be charged. Please refer to
paragraph #12 of your Guest License Agreement/Lease.
Other notes
Be aware that some units do
not have telephone service.
Currently, no owners allow pets in
their properties. Please do NOT bring pets
of any kind with you during your stay with us.
We regret that some buildings charge a registration fee. Please direct questions or
concerns to your building manager.
The Fire Marshall prohibits
the use of grills on any condominium balcony.
Failure to obey this ordinance will result in fines and
possible eviction.
Before your scheduled check-in
date you will receive two (2) copies of your Guest License
Agreement/Lease. Be sure to sign and return one (1) copy to
Prudential Carruthers within ten (10) days, and keep the other
copy for your records.
